WEB GEMS- Bot 4th: Cesar Izturis robbed Jose Vidro of a base hit.

Mike Lowell had 2 base hits and 2 RBI and Scott Linebrink came through with a
solid 4 and one third innings at the ballpark as the Dart Weasels won in
dramatic fashion coming back to beat the ice-cold Chainsaw Proctologists by
the count of 10 to 9.

Dart came through with the game-winning runs in the 9th inning scoring 4
runners on 3 hits. The highlight belonged to Pat Burrell who deflated the
mood of the partisan fans when he cleared the bases with a Grand Slam homerun
(his 6th of the season). Dart had 10 hits for the afternoon.

Salomon Torres(1-1) allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Torres got help from Eric Gagne who was credited with his 16th save.
The losing pitcher was Trevor Hoffman(0-1) in relief.

John Callanan was feeling mighty fine as he answered questions in his office
after the game, 'Now that was one fine ending! Did you see how the crowd just
sat there in silence after the winning run scored? Here we are celebrating
wildly, and the stadium is cloaked in virtual silence. Weird. but GREAT!'
